The GAP Innovation Competition invites South African innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs to submit their novel technologies aimed at enhancing government service delivery and improving the quality of life for citizens, with winners receiving seed funding, cash prizes, and valuable incubation support to help bring their ideas to fruition.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to all South African citizens or permanent residents
• Individuals, teams, and start-ups eligible
• Must be beyond proof of concept or at prototype stage
• Entries must have potential for broad social impact in Gauteng
• Established businesses must not have a turnover of R5 million or more in the last financial year
