The Journeys Incubator at the University of Helsinki is a four-month structured program designed for aspiring startup teams to develop their innovative business ideas, offering mentorship, resources, and a collaborative community to help turn concepts into viable business models, with a focus on sustainability and social impact.

Benefits

• Each team will be assigned 1-2 professional mentors for bi-weekly online coaching
• Access to workspace, industry resources, and a network of entrepreneurs and investors
• Key entrepreneurial skills in business model design, funding strategies, marketing, sales, and team management
• Support in building scalable and fundable startups
• Completion of core entrepreneurial deliverables such as problem identification, value proposition, market strategy, and funding pitch materials

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to all undergraduate, master's, doctoral students, and staff of the University of Helsinki
• Non-affiliated applicants residing in the Helsinki metropolitan area are also welcome
• Teams must consist of at least two members
• Teams should demonstrate strong commitment and high-quality ideas
• Registered companies can apply, but teams with significant revenue are not eligible
• Application materials include a 3-minute introduction video, project pitch PPT, and a brief one-page description
